It is that time of year again! We are now taking pre-orders for our 2017 offering of grassfed beef.
If you are interested in ordering a larger quantity of beef for the fall we would be very grateful for advance orders. Taking advance orders gives us a good idea of how much beef is going where (which city or town) and in what months. It helps us to plan both our butchering dates and our inventory. Each year we hope to take pre-orders for approximately 75% of what we plan to butcher. The number of beef that are pre-ordered this year helps us to determine how many beef animals we are going to finish for next year.
Because everything we sell is produced here on the farm being able to plan as far ahead as the lifecycle of our cattle (It takes 24-30 months before a grassfed beef cattle is ready for butcher) is really helpful.
If you are keen to stock up your freezer come fall that’s great! Beef pre-ordered now will be ready for fall and early winter delivery. We will be delivering beef to both Brandon and Winnipeg & If there is interest we can also set up bulk order delivery dates for Boissevain, Killarney, Minto, Souris, and Wawanesa.
We are taking pre-orders for smaller beef packages as well as 1/4 beef, 1/2 beef and whole beef orders. Check out the Beef-Pre Order Form for more info.
There is no deposit required for beef pre-orders.
If you want to order beef by the cut we will send an updated list (in our newsletter) of what is available after fall butchering. Beef by the cut will be limited by availability and is not available for pre-order.
We do currently have a limited offering of select cuts if you would like a few things to tide you over until fall.
