Speaking & Education

Tours:

At Luna Field Farm we offer tours for those interested in food from the farm and our production system. Throughout the season we will have some scheduled tours. You can also contact us to see if we are available for a tour. We are a working farm and while we have an open door policy we do not have “open hours”. Please contact us to schedule a visit.

Conferences and Speaking:

We are available to speak at conferences and community events. We have spoken at Ag days, The Western Canadian Holistic Management Conference, Farm Focus, The Manitoba Direct Farm Marketing Conference, Manitoba DIY Fest, Nationals Farmer’s Unions events and to Rotary Club and other community organizations.

Farm Learning:

Luna Field farm is a working (commercial) livestock farm.

If you are looking for a learning experience there are a couple of ways for you to apply to come to stay on the farm:

For shorter term stays, we do accept applications through WWOOF Canada. You can click here to see our profile.

For longer term (3-5 month) stays or internship opportunities you can apply through SOIL Apprenticeships or contact us directly.

** Please note that these opportunities are only open to Canadian residents or those with the proper immigration/travel/work documentation for Canada.
